Dal Makhani Ingredients

Cooking Dal
- 1 cup of black gram
- Red Kidney Beans
- Salt
- Water

Dal Makhani Tadka

- 2 tbsp ghee
- 2 chopped onions
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 3-4 tomato puree
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- coriander leaves
- water
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala

- Butter
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Fresh Cream

Dal Makhani Method

- In a pressure cooker, add the black gram, red beans, salt, and water and hold for 2-3 whistles.
- In a pan, add the butter and onions and cook until the onions are golden.
- Add ginger and garlic paste, tomato puree, salt, red pepper powder and coriander leaves.
- Check if the dal is cooked and add it to the tadka and cook it for 7 to 8 minutes.
- In another pan, add the butter, the red pepper powder and pour over the dal and add the coriander and the fresh cream.
Dal Makhani is ready to be served!
